چکیده
This work mainly focuses on the development of a novel type chemically activated electrodes from cotton yarn by carbonization and chemical activation. Chemical activation is employed in order to obtain high specific capacitance, energy power density. The zinc oxide was prepared sol – gel method pH should be range 9 11. ZnO/CCY electrode it stirred with magnetic stirrer. performance evaluated using aqueous electrolyte at various current densities scan rate. sample which electrochemically characterized CV, GCD EIS. paper reports highly flexible, less weight, electrically conductive an electrochemical capacitance 10.06 F g−1 150 mV s−1. ZnO powders were evenly developed over carbonized yarn. porous nanostructure presented powder enough potential electro-active sites. Additionally, offered good adsorption. well-developed fiber showed enhanced stability analysis From results, fabricated flexible can provide impending applications cable-type devices next generation supercapacitors.

The special nature of the C C bond can lead to various polymorphic forms of carbon such as graphite, glassy-carbon, fullerenes (such as buckyballs), carbon nanotubes, and diamond. Electrodes made from carbon exhibit many useful properties including wide potential windows, low background capacitance, resistance to fouling, and catalytic activity for manyanalytes compared to solidmetal electrodes...

We fabricated ZnO photoelectrodes at room temperature by doctor-blading ZnO gel; the adequate interparticle connection and the effective ammonia activation process improved the flexible DSC's efficiency to 3.8% (under 100 mW cm(-2)).
متن کاملActivated Carbon Fibers with Hierarchical Nanostructure Derived from Waste Cotton Gloves as High-Performance Electrodes for Supercapacitors
One of the most challenging issues that restrict the biomass/waste-based nanocarbons in supercapacitor application is the poor structural inheritability during the activating process. Herein, we prepare a class of activated carbon fibers by carefully selecting waste cotton glove (CG) as the precursor, which mainly consists of cellulose fibers that can be transformed to carbon along with good in...
متن کاملNitrogenated porous carbon electrodes for supercapacitors
Nitrogenated porous carbon materials, made by coating the pore surface with nitrogen functional groups from the pyrolysis of hexamine, were characterized and tested for supercapacitor applications. From X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, the nitrogen content of the nitrogenated carbon sample was found to be 14 wt%. Electrochemical properties from potentiostatic and galvanostatic measurements, an...
متن کاملPorous boron-doped diamond/carbon nanotube electrodes.
Nanostructuring boron-doped diamond (BDD) films increases their sensitivity and performance when used as electrodes in electrochemical environments. We have developed a method to produce such nanostructured, porous electrodes by depositing BDD thin film onto a densely packed "forest" of vertically aligned multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The CNTs had previously been exposed to a suspension ...
